Most of it is out now yes, but only by the grace and mercy of God.
Sadly though Shasta(I think) is in trouble now.

i hate to say it, but they are a natural part of the are you live in. Forrests are ment to burn, it given other things a chance to grow and catch up. add nutrients to the ground.

yeah it sucks that peoples home are in the way of the fire, wish they could coat it in a chemicals to keep it from burning, but wildfires are a natural part of the earth's eco system, and when the time is right, they need to happen.
