Re: Compiling MechVM on Linux
It is not necessary to create your own makefile - use "qmake; make" to compile MechVM under Linux. MechVM is open source; of course, you can post fixes. Unfortunately, I have not found time to put into MechVM for weeks, and I don't expect this to get better before September. If you can use...

Re: MW2 Mercs Titanium weapon glitch/music
Confirmed, the Titanium Trilogy (TT) soundtracks were shortened to make space for additional data on the CDs. Virtual CD stores CD images separately from the data on a CD. It may be possible to exchange the music using that program. I don't know VirtualCD's current price. A cheaper alternative would...

Re: A question regarding the GBL intro
Agreed, a mech is easily hot enough to melt into snow. The Kodiak stock configuration does not have jump jets, but jump jets can give a Kodiak up to 120 m of jump range. At that distance, you do not even have to cover it with snow to hide it, a deep hole should do. And you need some sensors, like se...

Re: Install from CD Image not working
Installing from a CD image is supported for the DOS editions of MW2. If your CD imager creates several files, just feed the largest file to MechVM. After installation, the line below the buttons says "installation complete". If the image file is not supported, this will be reported in the ...

Re: Compiling MechVM on Linux
I am currently working on a new release, so I'd rather provide fixes for this 14 months old release only when necessary. I want to improve Unicode support for Windows, but this breaks a lot of existing functionality. MechVM can be made to work under Linux, but functionality is reduced. Under Linux, ...
