Sorry, I wasn't being clear. I only changed compatibilities for the Mech2.exe and MW2Win.exe, not the patches themselves.

Not exactly no. The 95 versions do work in vista(least last i checked)(I have not tested SP1). DOS versions do not work in Vista except through DOSBOX. Thanks for your reply. So, it's only the DOS version that works on Vista, or can you install the Mech2 95 retail edition from DOS (via DOSbox) and get it to work?

Hi. I'm a longtime Mechwarrior fan ever since I got Mechwarrior 2: 31stCC with my old Toshiba Infinia desktop. Looking forward to trying to get it back online on my pc, and looking forward to discussing with fellow MW2 fans.
