Re: BWD file tags
You have advanced in rank. This is meant to encourage posting. You seem to pour a lot of work into this without a posting a lot. I am a man of few words... except when I'm at the pub ;-) I have removed earlier notes and reformatted your notes as you see above. Please notify us of any changes you ma...

Re: BWD file tags
Argh, sorry! I reorganized the files and forgot to update the URL here  The file is now located in http://users.tpg.com.au/nkjd245/mw2/bin/ with copies of some of my other notes on MW2 binary formats. (Huh... I seem to be a "2nd Mechwarrior" now... I was kind of enjoying being an &qu...

Re: MechVM-2009-03-16
Developing an AI ... well, first I'd like to get the mechs walking in the original levels. In order to make modding the levels easier, I plan to export level descriptions as XML files that reference geometry in the PRJ (.WTB files). Once the mechs are walking and shooting, network and/or AI will ha...

Re: MechVM-2009-03-16
I have just uploaded a new version of MechVM It looks good mate :-) it's time to focus on developing the sim now :D Getting a bit ahead of things here, but are you planning to try to replicate the original AI? If so you might find this useful (I decoded the AIT file format a couple of days ago - mi...

Re: Mercs mods please?
Thankyou
I've uploaded updated copies of my notes at the links I gave in my last post - still a LOT of holes in the weather_begin/end construct, but it's something at least.

Re: Mercs mods please?
You can find my WASM notes here: http://users.tpg.com.au/nkjd245/mw2/wasm/ (campaign.txt is the one you want Skyfaller - alternatively if you want to hack xxxxCAM1.BWD values directly, I've partially documented the CPGN chunk here http://users.tpg.com.au/nkjd245/mw2/bin/cpgn.txt ). I think equipment...

Re: Mercs mods please?
I've managed to (partly) work out some of the undocumented WASM commands specific to Mercenaries. Nothing that would be useful if you were just going to make an MWM, but definately interesting if you were going to patch the Mercs project file with Skyfallers tool. Specifically the commands I've got ...
