Re: New program in the works for the community.
This is an excellent idea. I just hope that someone picks up the project soon. Maybe Col. Kell could get involved?

Re: Nukes, what were they for?
My best guess is that the nuke weapon is an unfinished Arrow IV Artillery in 31st Century Combat, but maybe it had some other purpose, like a Dropship weapon?

Re: Non-mech games you liked
Another DOS game I really like would be UFO: Enemy Unknown\XCOM: UFO Defense ( Both are same game, just different region.) The game takes place in 1999, when aliens start appearing around the world. Re: A question regarding the GBL intro
Another thing about the GBL intro: the Mad Dog could have easily launched it's missiles at close range, maybe giving it time to retreat while keeping the Kodiak at bay with it's pulse lasers.

Re: Light mechs
The Kit Fox is my favorite light Mech and one of my favorite overall Mechs. I like using it in a Skirmisher role, running in, firing a few pulse lasers, then running away and repeating.

Re: Jump-Jet Recharge Times
I have a relatively fast CPU, and the jump jets recharge pretty quickly. I wonder if we could experiment a little to see what does it.
