how does one go about creating a .cue? I have an img but it doesn't appear to be working.

So after tinkering with my Win95/Dos Mercs 1.05 (i'm on Win7) and being unable to get it working in MechVM or DosBox. I decided to try my old "nightmare" d3d version of mercs (yes i have two copies). so i popped it in the drive, launch mechVM, install, start game, and lo and behold everyth...

Well i just used MechVM to install and I run the win 95 version.

when i try to run the dos version is doesn't do anything but says something along the lines of "process started at code 0" or some such thing. I'll give a better description when i get home tonight

So i used MechVM to install Mercs. Everything went smoothly, i can access the game (although it is windowed) and start a new campaign, go to instant action, enter the mechlab, all seamlessly. however when i try to launch a mission nothing happens!! if its instant action the screen stutters like its ...

And great thanks to Raddick for helping me with this. I havent been able to play mercs2 in like 8 or 9 years.

well i looked and couldn't find the solution to my problem. essentially whats happening is when i try to launch campaign missions the game just closes and in instant action when i launch it gives me the loading screen then the game closes but the game music still plays until i take the cd out. help!...

ok i got it to work by changing the .bat file.

and of course me naturally having not read the FAQ didn't realize i needed the noflb.com fixes.

i know i know silly noobs.

now i have a problem where i can't launch missions but i'm gonna read the faq for that too.

I managed to install dos mercs as the win95 install just plain wouldn't work (the install engine exe was messed up or something)

however whenever i run the .bat file to launch the game the dosbox just flashes really quick and thats it. the game just won't start.

help!
