Make my own mechs

Okay, I want to construct my own mechs but I have no idea where to begin. So, for now I want to create a Warhammer with Timberwolf arms. Where do I start? :D

Hm. These files labels seem a little like the ones I'm getting. I extract them using MechVM using right-click->Export as XML and these are the results (in the download link). Are these normal? It seems like I'm exporting half a file. :? Please note that this is just one that I picked at random then ...

You will need a hex editor for viewing data in binary form. I got XVI32. Will that do? You can take PRJPP from one of the posted mods.
