Re: [GBL]An interesting DOSBOX install problem
Ctrl + f4 works only in dosbox to refresh stuff. If you did it in a browser yes, it will close a tab, and alt + f4 would close the browser entirely. There is no other key that will do this in dosbox. What you need to do is mount the .cue in daemon tools then in dosbox you mount the drive letter lik...

Re: [GBL]An interesting DOSBOX install problem
Would you mind giving me exact instructions on how to do that? I do have daemon tools light installed, as well as .cue files for both of them. How does the DOSBOX know which 'drive' my cd is in? Can I change how it detects the CD-ROM 'drive'? Edit: I am using Windows 7, is there an alternate 'refres...

[GBL]An interesting DOSBOX install problem
Hello all, I've just found that my CD version of MechWarrior 2 (Pentium Edition) does not have a DOS install feature, so I cannot play it through DOSBOX. Saddened, I installed my version of MechWarrior 2 Mercenaries, and while I enjoy playing that very much, without the dynamic salvage patching it d...

Okay, thanks. It installed. I played it for a bit, logged out. Now how do I make it RUN again through DOSBox? (Command lines please?) It's already installed, no?

How do INSTALL through DOSBOX?
Hello everyone.
I have my Mercs .cue File being read by DOSBox, but I have no idea on how to make DOSBox install it. And yes, it is a combo DOS/Win 95 Mercs disk as I have run it through DOS on my XP. How do I make the install run?

New/Old player...
Hey everyone... I was so excited when I found this forum, because I found a way to finally play MW2 again.. =D MW2 was the first game I ever played--when I was three years old on a brand new Micron PC. I loved it, and when GBL and Mercs came out after that, it was a LOT of fun. I also enjoyed playin...

Re: MechWarrior 2 DOS - Install Guide for DOSBOX
Nah, it's just in Steam folder because my Dad would flip if he found out I had installed "external programs" to run MW2. SO I hide it there. Anyway, what do you mean, make a "C:" folder? a screeny to demonstrate plz? Oh, and do I need to include the quotes as well? EDIT: NVM, und...

Re: Firemoth - Wolf - Speed Runs
Good job. Now do the other set of Missions =D. I can't remember what the mission is called, but I vaugely remember it being on an ice planet, and there was this huge convoy you had to protect, and there were Battlemaster IIC's and other large mechs... God I can't remember what it was... Do that one =D
